Alhambra Magazine: Exhibitions of Success
Dr. Karen Williams, Superintendent, launched her first issue of Alhambra Magazine: Exhibitions of Success!  Click here, Exhibitions of Success, to access the magazine electronically.  The link will take you to a web-based program called Issuu.com where you can view it in an online magazine format.  For easy reading, follow these steps:
  • In Issuu.com, the Exhibitions of Success Magazine will appear at the top of the screen.
  • In the lower right corner of the magazine screen, click on the double arrow icon.  The double arrow icon will take the magazine into a full-screen mode for viewing.
  • To turn from page to page, click on the gray arrow on the right/left sides of the screen.
  • If you would like to view the magazine in a single page format, rather than a magazine format, click on the “open book” icon in the black icon bar at the top of the page.  This feature will take it from magazine format, to single page format.
  • To view from a PC, use the right/left arrow keys to advance pages.
  • Also accessible from your smart phone.
We hope you enjoy this first issue of Exhibitions of Success!

Teacher Honored on Mix 96.9
Paul Hamel, District English Language Arts Academic Coach, was honored on Wednesday on Mix 96.9 Radio.  Mr. Hamel was contacted by a former student, who now works on the morning show.  Mix 96.9 was launching a new teacher’s recognition contest and Mr. Hamel was interviewed by his former student, Priscilla Ornelas, as being a teacher that touched her life! There is no greater reward in the teaching profession than to have a former student say thank you in a meaningful way!  Click here to listen to the surprise interview.
